At the entrance to the exhibition will be the Skinscape, consisting of two interactive surfaces on which young children can play. Shown here is a rough concept sketch for a "hairscape" consisting of large tubes of styrofoam. Children can wander through this forest of hairs.
Also proposed by the Second Skin exhibition designer is a bubblescape, a rubber floor stretched over balls of various sizes, creating an undulating and bouncy surface.
